Grind size?!?! What in the world.... yup, grind size plays a huge role in the taste of your coffee and the kind of brewing method you’re using. There are a variety of grind sizes from extra fine to coarse. Don’t stress though, that’s what we’re here for! We’re going to walk you through a few today. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Coarse grind means you’re going to grind the beans just a little so that you have larger chunks. Coarse grind allows water to take its time pulling the flavor. You'll use course grinds in full emersion methods like cold brew coffee and French Press coffee.
*Fine grind means you’re really going to get in there until your beans are similar in size to table salt. This allows water to extract the flavor of the coffee quicker. ⠀
